Cruel
Harsh straight to the point
Unruly mobs chant slogans of hate
Flags burn on lawns
Children dance to war songs
Here in the jungle there are only beasts
Peaceful trees
Flowers milking bees
Honey pollen floating among the sugar weeds
In thick brush they mate to bread
A seed of trepidation implanted in between
Diamond ring
Mined in the caves which sing
With bats in dark hives clinging with open wings
Waiting with anticipation
And wet teeth
To encounter what the hustling wind brings
Swarmed merchant of luxurious things
A pebble initiates a carved road
Into the depths of creation
Places of heaven
Enchanted kingdoms of ordinary people
Stone upon stone
Towers with walls surrounding were built
At the epicenter a temple once stood
And has now reappeared
As I should
