Do You Believe In Fairies?

Believe in fairies I think I do
Because when I am feeling blue
The sight of them brings joy anew
Their wings so delicate and fine
And they drink a nectar wine
When on sweet cakes they do dine

On the night breeze I heard a tune
When I looked I couldnt believe my eyes
The fairies all danced and sang along
To me it came as a grand surprise
MorningDove:
Fairies, of course I believe.
If there is me, then there is thee.
They live around my rock pond.
Play and frolic in the fronds.
Such sweet little playmates.
Nights the very best time.
They sing and dance around.
Not a moment for me for frowns.
Such precious little clowns.

A pretentious display of magic.
With wings all a flutter
Dancing into hypnosis, all the tragic
My darkness can only stutter
I believe in fairies,
I have seen them dance
So beautiful, its scary
So subtle, their benevolence.

He was a happy guy full of joy
Even thou his size was a toy
He played cards with me threw the night
I lost twice and started a fight
It seemed the little guy cheated
He had help so I was defeated
I didnt know his friends were the two on my shoulder
The angel he didnt say much cause he is oolder
But the demon he was the fate
He helped the little man take the money from my plate

I believe in fairies
For many are my friends
Living deep within the forest
And in the darkest glen.

I dont believe in fairies
Oh no I truly do not
I have a better chance of seeing a cherry
Do the robot

I would love to see a cherry do the robot.
What a fine sight, that would truly be.
Mother Nature can surely make a cherry dance
Just as fine as any graceful, fairy

I have seen them in the glen
And playing by the river bend
And under the willow trees
As it swings in the breeze
I believe for magic is everywhere
The Creator blest us with our share
And I choose not to close my eyes
To all in Gods heaven and skies
For without the magic of imagination
We would live in a dreadful nation
Without the thrills our minds conceive
That is why I choose to believe

This is an awesome and cleverly penned collabration between the finest of writers here on YPDC. You have all done an excellent job on this. I do believe in fairies. Thanks so much for such an enjoyable and pleasurable write.
