Sink Or Swim

Somedays my head is so full
I can't think
You feel like if you don't swim
You might sink
Drowning in memories of you
All those things I thought I'd never miss
Broken hearts sealed with a kiss
All those choices taken for granted
The straight and narrow path can't help but feel a little slanted
For so long we beat around a bush
And so many times shove came to push
I'll love you always and forget you never
And wonder what might have been
Possibly forever
I'll do what I can to stay a float
Always knowing our song should have ended on a happier note
