I know that you are gone, I can still feel your presence, I understand we can't speak, But I still hear your voice. I realize I will never feel your touch, But I do everywhere I go, I can feel your body lying next to me, I imagine your arm around my waist, suddenly I know. You are waiting for me in heaven, I must choose the right path, I know I must make you proud, You are looking down on me smiling. Sometimes I think I'm crazy, I can hear you calling my name, I walk towards the door, But your voice doesn't remain. At night I remember our conversations, Sometimes they were so strange, Just the night before we talked of marriage, Your death was an abrupt change. We didn't see it coming, I figured you and I would die old, Within a matter of minutes, Our whole lives were unrolled. People don't get it, But I will love you until my end, No one can take the love away, Others must comprehend. You are the love of my life, You always will be, I will continue to love you, I know you'll always love me.
Dustyn, You meant the world to me, I know I meant a lot to you, Baby I must move on, I know you'd want me to. You hate seeing me sad, You hate it when I cry, I will move on without you, But the love will exist until I die.
*If you have any suggestions on what I can do to either make this a better poem or how I can include everything in which I feel please send me a message or just leave me a comment...Thank You
