Forget Not Remember

Contributed by ell_03 on Thursday, 30th March 2006 @ 09:45:42 PM in AEST
Topic: LoveRemembered

Forget his name and his face,
Forget his kisses and warm embrace,
Forget his love that once was true,
Remember now, there's someone new.

Forget the love you two once shared,
Forget the fact that he once cared,
Forget the times you spent together,
Remember now, he's gone forever.

Forget you cried the whole night long,
Forget him when they play your song,
Forget how close you two once were,
Remember now, he cares for her.

Forget the way you knew his walk,
Forget the way he used to talk,
Forget how hapy you used to be,
Remember now, he's formed a different "we".

Forget the times he used to phone,
Forget how he never left you alone,
Forget he said, " I'll Leave You Never",
Remember now, your heart he's severed.

Forget his gentle teasing way,
Forget you kissed him every day,
Forget the things you planned to do,
Remember now, she loves him too.

Forget the thrill when he held you tight,
Forget how he made everything seem so right,
Forget the way he said your name,
Remember now, things will never be the same.

Forget the way he held your hand,
Forget the sweet things, if you can,
Forget his perfect bright blue eyes,
Remember now, his love for her never dies.

Forget how he promised you'd stay a two,
Forget how he said, "I Love You",
Forget the dreams he made come true,
Remember now, he's forgotten you.
