Turn, Turn, Turn
Sandra S. Corona

Woman has a child ... turn
The girl is wild ... turn, turn
Innocence defiled ... turn, turn, turn

Another has son ... turn
Boy just has fun ... turn, turn
He plays with a gun ... turn, turn, turn

The boy and girl meet ... turn
Their love is sweet ... turn, turn
Find robbery neat ... turn, turn, turn

They rob a big bank ... turn
Shot guard, a mistake ... turn, turn
They run, lives at stake ... turn, turn, turn

Find ev'ry road blocked ... turn
Their eyes--cold--lock ... turn, turn
Passion runs hot ... turn, turn, turn

They floor it, race thru ... turn
Seats red were blue ... turn, turn
Lives gone askew ... turn, turn, turn

Left a little girl ... turn
Pure as a pearl ... turn, turn
Ne'er saw her curl ... turn, turn, turn

Alll life is but a ... turn

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
