I taste your words
like delicasies
lingering over each
like some butterfly sampling
a buddleia
or a hummingbird sipping
sweetly from a trumpet
I float effortlessly upon them
supported by their truth
and delighted in their aroma...
a lucid memory of a
perpetual moment
hovering high above desire
sailing free on waves of satiation
carried only by the
wind of intent
and the sound of your voice
as I remember it...
