You seem ok today. You’re smiling and laughing and joking around.forgeting everything while I stand there not making a sound. But its not so easy for me to forget what you did, I have to live with it every day and night like its this whole new part of my life. I replay the scenes when I close my eyes. The sounds the touches the pain that I felt. But since you seem so keen on this whole forget trip, let me remind you of what you did. You pretended to be my friend when you came to my house but you weren’t, you didn’t stop when I said don’t touch me instead you just touched me more. You threw yourself on top of me I tried to fight back and you hit me so I started to scream. You got off me and turn the music on full blast then got right back on and began to tear off my clothes. You didn’t stop when I said no you yelled and hit me and said keep your mouth close. As much as I fought back it didn't work you just did what you wanted as I lay there starting to cry. Then you got up and whispered four painful words in my ear “tell and you die” and after you left I sat there the whole night and cried. So now do you remember do you even care? Does it play in your head at night liking a freaking nightmare? It does for me I can’t forget. It’s stuck in my head on a tape over and over the night I was raped.

Powerful, emotional, and extreme. Such characteristics make a poem stand out. Yours especially. NO ONE can forget they've been raped, the brutality of it. There's a rape I think every 3-5 minutes in America which makes me sick. |

Friend, rape is a deep scar never to be erased from the heart and mind but the satisfaction of standing up-right and hitting back shall cool and console your soul a bit. Women are not weak let that be registered in very women’s mind in this world weather it is American, European, African or Asian, women should learn to stand up and fight for their rights instead of crying.
I am sorry if I have crossed the limits but this what I strongly feel.
FRANCO.
