COLUMBIAS HEROES
ASTRONAUGHTS, SCIENTISTS, MEN, WOMEN, HUMAN BEINGS
GALLANT AGAINST THE ODDS
NEVER CONCERNED WITH THE INEVITABILITY OF THEIR FATE
THEY ARE AT LAST UNITED
WITH THE HEAVENS
THAT THEY SOUGHT
TO EXPLORE AND CONQUER
EACH TIME WE SEARCH THE SKIES
FOR A STAR TO WISH UPON
EACH TIME A MOTHER WONDERS
IF HER CHILD
WILL WANT TO UNDERTAKE
THEIR SAME OBJECTIVE
THEY WILL BE REMEMBERED
WE WILL MOURN THEIR PASSING
AND CELEBRATE
THEIR COURAGE AND COMMITMENT
