I did everything I could do
Tried my best not to provoke you
Now It's to late
And trusting you, proved to be my hearts biggest mistake
You knew you were lying
So why did you keep trying
To make me think, to make me care
To make me think, this time you'd play fair
With you there's no winning
And I knew it from the beginning
I didn't want to believe
It was me you'd decieve
But the truth I found
Rock hit the bottom, like bottom hit the ground
You are what I thought
Anyone to get involved deserved what they got
I know this isn't all fair to recite
Who knows what happened to make you see things in this light
To me it no longer matters anyway
You have no hope for tomorrow
When you are this way today
