Too slow to tell you

For the first time I was bigger than me And for the last time I meant anything
And I loved you more than you'll ever know I was too slow to tell you this but A part of me died when you went away I went down with this ship Because I didn't stay on the shore with you
I'm not sure how to say this But I've thought about you every second lately It's just a shame that I'm talking to your ghost Greatly exaggerating that I had a presence in your life Like the one you've had in mine
