Hunger Power
The development of a people can be gauged by attitude
Gauged by the attitude, the attitude to food
When bellys are empty, priorities are not the same
As those who stop for a pie, after the game
If life or death is a bowl of rice
What concern the latest electronic device?
Adverts tell us, kids need breakfast cereal to think
How much harder to learn when its a 3 mile walk for a drink
Half the world too fat, trying not to gain
The other half crippled, by pangs of hunger pain
Imbalance of power, dictatorship shrewd
Its easier to control people, when you keep them just short of food
