Teardrops form
Oceans of sorrow
Awash on a sea
Of darkened tomorrows
Silver promises
A web of deceit
All of her forever
Trashed at her feet
Torn from inside
Darkened the door
Hopes lay in pieces
On the floor
Rain beats at window
Thunder rolls strong
Lightening strikes
All the night long
From deep within
A faint light starts to glow
And through the nothing
It will begin to grow
Illuminating the heart
Shining bright
Banishing the abyss
She has won this fight
