If for some strange reason, habit replaces passion, And you become cynically inclined to become a part of some reaction,
Where should we place our senses? Taken in reflection through pitch black lenses.
For if there was to surface, some unrelated aspect of tension, Should we look to the future, or dwell on our own apprehension?
It might be interesting enough to wonder of the cause, Of such a ridiculous assortment of feeling put on pause.
As one enters another, that is the feeling you so undeniably admit, I might sink into forsaking that which I feel to know but not to commit.
It is silly, however, that a sly look should balance out a fateful tear. Silly girls run away, unable to withstand or face their fear.
There is a certain image of morality that stands alone in sequenced tone. I wish for everything important, that you should spend the rest of eternity, all alone.

I quite enjoyed this. The line "Of such a ridiculous assortment of feeling put on pause." really caught my attention. Well done.
