You said youd always be there
you shouldnt have lied it wasnt fair
what you tried to make me see
was that you really loved me
but it wasnt true
and now Im sorry that I ever loved you
I found your letters
one had said you could love me better
that's not true
he would never do the things you do
you said you didnt want to get involved
or put pressure on me
but still you enticed me , and got me where you wanted me to be
I should of known
that youd make me love you and leave me all alone
I thought wed be perfect for each other
but after waiting and struggling for so long
I couldnt have been more wrong
you think I would have seen through you
but I couldnt ,or I wouldnt
I was too infatuated with you
and if you came back into my life
I d fall right back in love with you

| This poem is 4 years old and it used to be very true, But I saw this person recently at first I was caught off gaurd, but Iwas able to walk away feeling okay with it |
