I thought this time was different
I should have known It was to good to be true
I tried my hardest but
I couldn't stay away from you
All the times you asked me to trust you
I pushed you away
The one time I decide to let you get close
You decide not to stay
I'm sorry if I'm not the same as in your dreams
But where you concerned nothings as it seems
You tuck me in over the phone
And still I wake to find myself alone
I told you, you couldn't have it both ways
I guess in real life
The smart one goes
And the stupid one stays
If your happy, I'm that for you
But when she's not there and you turn to me
It makes me wonder how happy can you really be
