Love is not for me.

Topic: EmotionalPoetry

Love is not for me.
I like to be on my own,
Im much better off that way.
I like to be in control of all my emotions,
I hate people to do nice things for me,
Let me give all, dont try to give to me,
I wont ever take it.
Who needs love to live?
Not me, not now, not ever,
I truly dont believe its real,
And those who say they love
Are all fools,
Selfishness is all it is,
Wanting someone?
Needing someone?
Then when they leave,
Hating them,
Thats the most selfish thing in all the world!
The only reason people get together is for themselves,
They like each other.
All a lie, all selfish.
Its only about a feeling they get.
Then when they fight or the feelings are gone,
That love is over.
I laugh so hard to hear people say I love
The simple truth is love will destroy you,
It will build you up,
Only to tare you down,
It will fill you up,
Only to empty you,
It will make you so happy,
Only to leave you in tears.
So how can you say I need to be loved?
I dont! I dont!
Not now, not ever,
Im not like all the rest.
I just dont believe love exists.
Like that song says,
The only reason he saw her,
Was because he wanted to sleep with her,
Like that song says,
The only reason people are loved
is because they can please
And do things for them,
And you say those songs good.
Forget everything,
No one can or will,
Love for the inside of a person,
Because all love is selfish,
So I will never believe,
Nor ever want again,
That foolish part of me is dead,
So go!
Go far away,
Leave me alone,
To live each day without that horrible selfish desire,
To only be loved,
Because I dont want or need such a thing.
Love is not for me.

Your poem was really deep.I believe in love but if you find that right person it wont hurt it will be there forever. He or she wont beat you, bring you down.hey will encourage you and be there thru your hard times.Give it a try just cuz one or two relationship dont work out dont mean there is not a such thing as love. When you find the rite one you both will be on the same page and can share emotions and can feel what the other is feeling. Please dont get love wrong cuz its a beautiful thing.God loves you dearly and if my comment didnt change your mind please at least let God love you and love him back cuz its for you live and for him you die.God Bless You and our love life.
