One day a week
You lay awake and think of me
You call to let me know
Like that was gonna make me happy
I didn't know what I was to say
But that's one of the reasons I know
I shouldn't stay
I don't want more than you have for me
But if this is it
You need to just let me be
It's never enough to just know
And always so hard to let it show
Things that are right
Shouldn't require this kind of fight
At first I was blinded
And I never minded
She may just let you do what you do
But for me
there's always a replacement for you
Like it or leave it
But I don't need it
