WE MET IN THE 6TH GRADE,
THREE WEEKS INTO SCHOOL,
YOU WERE REALLY COOL,
WE STARTED HANGING OUT,
I LIKED YOU ,
WE GOT ALONG GREAT,
WE WERE ALWAYS TOGETHER ,
NEVER APART,
A FEW WEEKS BEFOR THE END OF SCHOOL...
YOU ASKED ME OUT,
I WAS SO STOKED,
IT WOULD BE A PERFECT RELATIONSHIP,
SCHOOL ENDED ,
SUMMER BEGAN,
WE BROKE UP.......
7TH GRADE STARTED,
WE MET UP CLOSER THAN EVR,
IT WAS ALL THE SAME,
EXEPT WE WERENT TOGETHER,
IT DIDNT MATTER,
I KNEW YOUD BE HERE FOR ME THE WHOLE YEAR,
YOU LOOKED OUT FOR ME,
EVERYTHING WAS GREAT,
UNTIL YOU SAID THAT YOUR MOVING AT THE END OF THE YEAR,
I WAS SO SAD,
THERES SO MUCH THAT I STILL HAVE TO SAY,
I HAVENT HAD A CHANCE TO THANK YOU ,
FOR ALWAYS BEING THERE FOR ME,
FOR CARING ENOUGHT ABOUT ME TO ALMOST FIGHING JULIAN,
FOR EVERYTHING,
IT'S BARLY TAKING AN IMPACT ON ME CUZ SCHOOLS ALMOST OVER,
I STILL LOVE YOU BUT NOW YOUR LIKE MY BROTHER,
EVEN THOUGH YOUR MOVING I HOPE YOU KEEP IN TOUCH,
I HOPE YOU STAY MY BROTHER AND NEVER FORGET ME
NO MATTER WAT KNOW THAT I'LL ALWAYS LOVE YOU,
NO MATTER HOW FAR APART,
NO MATTER HOW MUCH WE TALK,
YOU'LL ALWAYS BE THE BEST BROTHER I'LL EVER HAVE,
I'LL NEVER FORGET ABOUT YOU,
THINGS WILL BE BORING WITHOUT YOU,
BUT I'LL MOVE ON ,
AND HOPEFULY FIND ANOTHER GUY HALF AS GREAT AS YOU,
BUT NO MATTER HOW HART I TRY,
NOBODY CAN REPLACE YOU,
I JUST WANTED YOU TOO KNOW HOW I FEEL,
AND THAT I'LL NEVER FORGETYOU,

if you both try hard to stay in touch you will.... believe me i know.... i moved from england to the US to go to school. i left my best friend/boyfriend in england... we were both so scared of loosing each other but in some respects we are even closer even though we are over 5000miles apart...
thank you for sharing.. he sounds like a great guy... dont try to replace him because it wont work... you will always be searching... comparing two people is a dangerous game... but good luck all the same... |

| You took something that almost everyone experiences and turned it into a poem full of emotion. It reminded me of a friend I had many years ago. Thanks for the write. |
