If she only knew, what you and me were up to
Shed fall out of love and grow to hate you
Like I used to wish I was able to
Everything you do has repercussions
So why are we having these same old discussions
I wanna be friends
You wanna be lovers
You say lets keep it under covers
I say pick one or the other
You know Id fight for you
I feel I have the right to
I'm sorry if I dont show you
But I didnt think I needed to
After everything weve been through
Ive had the best of you
Why does she get the rest of you?
You give me reason to believe
That me you wouldnt deceive
Dont say things you dont mean
And dont make me promises that you cant keep
Because its sink or swim when your into deep
Im not the jealous type
But I dont wanna share
If you wanted to be some where
Youd be there
You know where Ill be
When you think your ready for me
