The words you feel when written down, are thoughts inside your head They help you see more clearly in your diary by your bed You hide it from the world to see, you dont want them to peep You want to save it for yourself, the thoughts you want to keep
The words you feel when written down, are what is true to you They tell of things that you have done and what you want to do The special things that mean so much, the joy you feel inside The secret one you hope and wish was right there by your side
The words you feel when written down, the ups the downs the highs You write down what is true to you, there is no reason for lies You write down feelings of best friends and ones that you just hate It takes pressure off your shoulders and empties up your plate
The words you feel when written down are thoughts inside your head You keep it all there in your diary, on the table by your bed.
