You are trying to protect me
Knowing you'll only hurt me
As friends we talked about this
But I still can't stop wishing
We could be more than just friends
A pain corsing through my body every minute of every day
Since the day I told you
'I think I'm in love with you'
I have cried all of my tears
Now I'm just an empty soul
Forcing hope away
I'm tired of just friends
I'm sick of hope shattering in my face
Why is it I fall for the wrong ones?
I just want to love
I just want to be loved
But because you know you'll hurt me
You say 'just friends'
That sickening term
That death of words
I'm empty because of
Just friends

very raw and to the point.... i've been there myself
and it's difficult to deal with. Keep up the excellent
writing
