Oh how I long to be a single wave in the sea,
Free and lost in the vastness to be,
Completely oblivious to meaning of purpose,
Simply dipping under only to resurface,
Lost in the ocean but perfectly found,
In the deep presser of the colossal sound,
Ever in the same movement,
Being asked not, and nowhere being sent,
Living only to the beat of this life,
Not ever knowing of the word strife,
Freedom in this world of black, white and gray,
Let loose in my world of blue to always stay,
A wave going on and on,
Moving to the rhythm of the same song,
Reflecting the colors of the rainbow,
But from the depths only one color to know,
Blue, blue, blue..the lifes song of sorrow,
Is truly the promise there will be tomorrow,
Up and down up and down,
No need to smile or to frown,
A wave in the sea so far away,
I hope that I will be the one day!

This poem realy hits home i love the sea i'm from RI and grew up near the sea great concept and style u have here. definately will be my resting place soon. great writting very vivid .
