I write these words while you are asleep
Just with the thought of you in my mind
Brings a smile to my face.
I think to myself how my love runs so deep
How your ways are so loving and kind
And how just the sight of you makes my heart race.

Waterfall...
My feelings flow like subtle tunes
Melodically to you.
You
Like the sweetest song ever sung
They float carried on the warm breeze
Stronger than bands of steel
And surer than the finest crafted arrow
Yet softer than the rarest purest silk
And more profound than all philosophy.
If I could carve all my feelings
Into a finely sculpted sailing boat
Id let them be carried on the river
Of my emotions
And let them all flow over the waterfall
And into your ocean
So they could finally be home.
