Saw my life flash before my eyes today
Drowning in my fears, will I die a lonely man?
All these years of living in the past, just won't fade away
Painful are these tears, can I be the best I can?
If I look into the mirror, will my past look back at me?
An ever present stranger
can I face the future danger
in my mind?
No one here to hold me tight
to ease away my fears at night
Isolate myself, to hear my voice
Can I face the fear inside
can I put away, my wounded pride?
And in the end, will I see
My nightmares gone, my true self not lonely?
In the end, I hope to find
Sanity and peace of mind
And get to walk out of the past alive?
