Afraid of myself and what I may hear
Sitting all alone right here
Not knowing what I will do
Afraid of the knife I have next to me
When will my head spin out of control
Is this the only way to stop the voices
This must be the only way to stop the noises
They tell me to kill
They tell me to bleed
They know my weakness and to that they don't heed
I hate myself enough as it is
Can't live with this denial can't breath without my mind in control
I feel them taking over
Feel them even when I'm sober
Why is it they bother with me?
What is it that they see?
How much can i take
Why must they keep me awake
I am afraid of what I may do
I'll hurt my self instead of you
My pain seems to make them happy
Then they seem to get all sappy
Telling me I'm a nobody
Telling me I'll never have anybody
To them I'm just a loser
And I think i believe it
Why do they torment me?
Why won't they just leave me be?
Is the answer in this knife?
Is the only solution taking my life?
