So Many Things!

Contributed by Kassidi on Saturday, 27th July 2002 @ 07:57:52 AM in AEST
Topic: HumorPoetry

There are so many things to write about,
I don't now how I will be able to write about this all,
Maybe I should write about dogs today, not my dad, or my friends,
But I can never make up my mind.

So confusing I tell you,
This question is always on my mind,
Maybe I should write about it shelf I built wrong,
Or how I duck taped my arm to a car!

Well I guess this problem will never be solved,
Unless I am the one to solve it,
So I will take it in my own hands,
But people say I shouldnt do that,
Because I am known for not finishing projects.
(I guess people can tell by all the duck tape and little things lying around the house.)

But I can answer this question,
Before you can wink twice,
Oh but I almost forgot,
I need to go mop the floor instead

I really enjoyed this poem Kassidi. Life is not about finishing...it is about doing and begining. That is where the learning is. You do finish your poems, which are tiny little chapters in your life. Life is always too short to live up to someone elses expectations of us...so live your dreams and do things in a way that feels right to you. As long as you do no harm to another, you have every right to take your own path. And remember this always.."different is not the same as wrong."
Take care,
Sherry
