Ill ask you once and that is all
After everything thats happened
After everything Ive been through
You owe me an honest reply.
So Ill ask you once and only once.
Why did you leave me?
Why couldnt you stay?
Couldnt you see how much I needed you?
How much I still do?
Ive been trying to get by, pretending to be fine,
Trying to convince everyone that Im OK,
Trying to convince myself as well as them.
But its not working,
I cant go on anymore.
Youve left me to fight battles alone
That are too much for me to face without you
Im not strong enough to carry on anymore
Ive had enough.
I cant go on pretending.
Ever since you left
Ive been slowly dying from the inside.

You know the feeling you get, so there's no need to explain.
