Oasis of Paradise

Topic: happypoetry

Take me back to that fun filled place
Where the sun beats down on my sun tanned face
Where the taste of salt, is in the air
With a drink in my hand, I don't have a care
I could party deep into the night
Without any hassles, without any fight
Lay on the beach, from the moment the sun
is in the air, I could tan or be well done
Where the ocean is transparent, a crystal blue
I could swim and not have, another thing to do
I can lay here in paradise, as long as the money will last
But knowing how I am, it will be gone real fast
So what I could do, is sleep on the beach
when i run out of money, and the visa's out of reach
Or what else I could do, is sleep in a bar
So the liquor is close, and I won't have to crawl far
Or steal a boat, and sail far away
so I could be here forever, and tan another day
The carribean islands, is what's on my mind
An oasis of paradise, they're only one of a kind
