Wake Me Up From This Endless Tune

Im floating.
Coaxing sweet
images out of thin air.

Im playing music.
Dancing my fingers
on the tips of a string, strumming.

Im humming.
Singing soft
notes like a summer breeze.

Staying in tune
with a treacherous
ancient rune.
Wake me up
from this endless tune.

Surreptitious signals
rushing and tumbling
like dead leaves leaving.

Spring is coming.

Hmmm, dancing is the perpendicular expression of a horizontal desire; but this muse is a bit more abstract than my imagination can conceive. Creatively inspired, I might say.
