When the sky burned down-- Little by little the ashes fell Dead and gray--like weapons of war And robbed my soul of its color
And like that, I walked through streets Dragging this bag of stones Forgetting the blood Kicking shadows, kicking friends
So little by little my hand fell asleep Then my arm, then my chest And I left all the pencils alone And I left all the pages to dance naked
Then, fled all the words Where to and why? I was abandoned And I said nothing
So just like that, I fell asleep Just like that the world passed by And there was nothing left Nothing but my shoes
