I wasn't born to hate you
I wasn't born to hurt
I wasn't born to live your life
or get thrown in the dirt
If this is loving me
I guess I wanna be despised
I'd rather be alone
The have my head filled up with your lies
I wasn't born to be lonely
I was born to be free
I didn't have a choice at all
But still you both blamed me
I lost my innocence
At such an early age
There's no love left in me
It's been replaced by hatred
Breaking out of it's cage
I can't control escaping Rage....
Through the years, my eyes grew cold, Immune to all the pain
The hurt came out, at a later age
now memories remain
Getting stronger by the day, my will won't die and fade away
A wiser, stronger heart inside, my goals are now my shield
It's been a long time since I left
a place called abusive fields
Turn my pain to productivity,
They never would expect
Then try to take credit, for your winnings
and still showed no respect
They brought me up and down
I've been through this before
Don't say you'll stand by me
and put me down, berate me
till the hate builds up inside
I won't rest till the memories die.....
I will find the answers to, the questions that are there
Escape from that snake filled room,
that is always my nightmare
Healing comes from in your quest,
to put the pain and past to rest
Tears that still build up inside,
from memories, and loss of pride
Wisdom comes from trials of pain,
it's knowledge you must wield
Or else you'll find, yourself back in
a place called abusive fields
I was born to
stop it
