If you were sent to entertain me Then let the show begin
If you were meant to contain me Then let the ropes wear thin
If you are here to sedate me Then let the love drugs kick in
If you choose to receive me Then I am your sin
When you come to love me Love me whole
When you see inside me Allow my heart to unfold
When you close your eyes Trust me, I wont let you fall
If you agree to hold me Then never let go
If you need to control me Then grab on
If you feel you are in me Then know I feel it too
As you begin to leave me Slip away slowly
As you begin to discard me Dont look twice
As you begin to scar me Allow me to pay the price
If you never knew me I would know you less
If you never gave me a chance I would have done my best
If you never forgave me I could be peaceful in quietness
Where you touched me On a rusty park bench
Where you placed soft hands On my rough bearded face
Where you kissed my lips In tender moments of grace

love the title jyss.. lol
it's what initially drew me in..
but as ever..I'd come to find not what I expected.
...some softer side of you we've all but rarely seen.
I appreciate and greatly respect this, your words, albeit, with some eerie calm..
Truly..

I love this deep empathic validation, mirroring in like form. This is interesting, because the Bible characterizes “Creator God” in this way; in Psalm 18:26, it says: "with the pure thou (God) wilt show thyself pure; and with the froward thou wilt show thyself froward."

Profoundly unique and brilliantly provocative~!
