"As Long as Im Breathing"
Something simply beautiful
I never thought Id be.
But something simply beautiful,
Is what you see in me.
I dont have to be something more than real,
And I dont have to pretend that I am strong.
I only need to be the one thing I can be,
And the one thing I can be is me.
As long as Im breathing
Im okay
And as long as Im breathing
Im not afraid.
I only need someone to be something true
And I am only breathing
I am only breathing
With you
Dont let me hide behind an invisible wall
dont let me fall and unravel it all.
You walk behind me as if to protect my soul
And fill this forgotten hole.
They tell me Im not living.
I am lifeless as can be.
But I tell them Im breathing
Im not living but I am breathing
As long as Im breathing
Im okay
And as long as Im breathing
Im not afraid.
I only need someone to be something true
And I am only breathing
