THE QUEST

Contributed by FRANCO on Friday, 21st April 2006 @ 12:26:03 PM in AEST
Topic: InspirationalPoems

In a quest to skill the qualm of birth
I set a sail to cross the mighty oceans,
scaled soaring pinnacles in a futile effort,
glittering yellow metal or the shining
precious stones wiped not the qualm in my
heart but hoisted a few to add on.
My life journey a mere monsoon blossom,
bloom and perish before the next dawn,
yet mysteries of life an unsolved riddle
wonder how a dead seed buried deep beneath the muck,
sprouts out to be a mammoth tree, translate into a peaceful
sanctuary for countless wandering birds?
Tangled in my own quest to digest the significance of life,
until my souls flickering last flame enlightened
my inner-self; LIFE - a dark mystic vacuum, the bare
vibrant truth is my breathing moment - for divine deeds to fill.
(FRANCO)

Quite a deep and powerful write, my friend, filled with so much imagery. I was especially taken with this--->
"wonder how – a dead seed buried deep beneath the muck,
sprouts out to be a mammoth tree, translate into a peaceful
sanctuary for countless wandering birds?"
Thank you for sharing this.

Thank you again Franco. You never fail to hit my heart.

"Life- a dark mystic vacum, the bare vibrant truth is my breathing moment = for divine deeds to fill."

This is only one line that catches my heart.
