In past and present
their's a whole lot of fighting
mostly we lost, rather we gained
one person's actions
choices has its effects
pitiful moves by the presidents
like the bird flu that spreads
as this planet revolves
the virus follows
shortly we'll sicken
In life and death
theirs no comeback
the honor and promise
from an individual soldier
for its one nation
to defend what's right
in the name of freedome
how long can we keep fighting
in the future, what is the outcome

The future is scaryand painful to think about. All this disease spreading and economic problems along with the war.. The future is scary....
This was a great pome.. flowed great .. well written..
