Love Lost

Topic: SadPoetry

I wish I had a chance to tell
You how I felt,
But I thought I would wait
Until you came back home
I guess it was not in the
Stars,
Cause time just slipped on by
And stealing any chances of
Telling you how I loved
you so,
Now all the things I should
Have said,
Is tightly bottle up and sealed
For all eternity
Tears help fill the bottle brim
And sealed tightly shut,
Cant say I should have said
This or that,
Words spoken in hope that
You will hear
For your ears cannot hear
The words of sorrow I speak,
I wish I had given you that
Final kiss
Instead of turning away,
My words has long since
Faded,
Your heart cannot feel the
Pain and sorrow
That weight so heavy on
My heart
Never a day goes by
Without the thought of
You
I can't deny the love I
Feel,
I wish I could go back
In time,
When you were knew
And there with me,
My memory will never
Fade of you..
I will always love you
Still...

yes, those past moments are gone.. one beautiful thing God gave us, was a mind that had a memory compartment built into it.. again, our memory is important. it is a tool we can use for examples.. we can correct our bad memories, and build on our most wonderful memories.. one must not worry about a memory of sadness.. or pain.. when they can use those pasts as a conduit to reach a most beautiful goal... right thinking is the key to life... a good goal, is getting positive results out memories.. thank you Lord for building that memory software into our minds... Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
