If only an ocean away were not small
If only I had nothing at all

Only if it were rational
Only if it were reasonable
Only if time were not unresting
Only if I could stop being sensible

Love would make me go
Yet my heart alone does not move me
Love thus does not always triumph
Yet I feel not unwilling

Resolve as I can
Resolve as I may
Conspire, plan, or desire
I have come to this end
To see, hear, touch you will I never do again
