I write

Contributed by Archie on Wednesday, 26th April 2006 @ 10:32:38 AM in AEST
Topic: didactic

From the dawn of creation
that i do not understand
To the end of the future
and all of its strands
From the great stone tablets
and giant obelisks
heaved up by nations
with great toil and risk
From the sky of blue
with grey on the horizon
To the black of the depths of the sea
We have written our stories
to those who will see
who we are and what we believe.

My story is of a man
born without much stature
striving hard to overcome
what is deep in his heart
He has borne ridicule
from those who would fracture
what he sees in his dreams
what he knows won''t depart
He has been to the mountain
he has sailed on the seas
every place he has been love remains
He has comforted others
he has fallen to their schemes
He has seen what is inside of their brains

It is written on paper
for all to see
for we are nought but a man on the earth
our minds are the same
our hearts are the same
red blood runs through our viens
We think differently
We act differently
Culture has influenced our dreams
but when we''re cut we bleed
when we hurt we scream
We are all inspired to dream

Since this be inspired by some poems you just read, please keep on readin' whatever they were! Inspiration so described with a level of knowing and understanding far beyond mere mortal beings. I now believe more that there are highly evolved beings who bring hope for humanity. And such insight. You're right, Archie, YOU WRITE!

the writing in this poem took me on journey, you painted a portrait for me to see mentally, your penmanship is amazing, dreams are what we make them to be and this is true with what your pen has guided you to do...to tell us all on what you've seen, felt, and dreamt.
Keep writing and sharing...simply awesome write
