as i walk into the dance hall
the first person i looked for is you
you were in this black dress
you were so pretty i almost lost my breath
he was there to but he was sitting next to you
you were the best dress thing in the room
didn't take my eyes off you all night
didn't wanna lose sight of your beauty
my friends tell me i have no chance but i still wanna try
i still hold my love for you it burns deep down inside
maybe one day it with rise to the top again
buring as bright as the sun in the sky
but when the music stopped and it was time to go
i still picture you in that black dress
just with him and i left with the bullet in the chest
