I'm different from all the rest
You started to fall for me
you got scared
didn't know what to do
you decided to stop the relationship there
It's ok I understand
I know i'm different
theres things you dont know about me
most of them dark
I didnt wanna tell you cause I didnt know if you could handle them
it's taken me a long time
but i can handle them now
I prolly should'a told you
but I didnt wanna overwhelm you with all the bad things
like it did me
Theres a lot of things you dont know/understand about me
theres a lot of things I dont know/understand about myself
but i'm learning day by day i'm learning
but one thing I do know
is that i can make things right
for close friends if it comes down to it
I will sacrifice myself for them
I will do whatever it takes to make things right
So stay close to my Heart
I forgive you for the break up
So be one of my best friends
and no matter what i'll make things right for you.

Nice job on this poem - I really like it and I especially like the part about learning about yourself... I just like that wording and comparison... Wonderful!!!
