Its too easy to fall in love
Small gestures of friendship
Are seen as invitations
From the heart
When theres nothing else
To hold on to
Then in a single moment
Feelings of familiarity
Become affection
And finally infatuation
With one who never meant
To invite such feelings
I have no right
To care this much
She has every right not to
If only it were as easy
To let go.
