The Desire Of My Heart
Everyday and every night As the sands of time slip on by Of every hour and passing minute Thoughts of you make me sigh
A colourful rainbows on display After a few springtime showers The air is suddenly filled with Aroma from beautiful flowers
I fall into a lovely daydream Where visions of you are cast The deepest desires of my heart Come flowing in so strong and fast
We meet in the lush green meadow Underneath the sky so bright and blue You serenade my wistful heart To make long sweet love to you
We lay amidst blooming asters Blue Bells and daisies too You hand me a forget-me-not A token of love so true
The subtle wind gently blows My daydream begins to fade I awake to find the bright sky Darkened by the clouds shade
Here I stand alone once again With loving thoughts of you Until time is kind enough To see my dream come true
