Can you give as much as you can take?
Can you love as much as you can hate
The hearts we heed are the ones we break
When we ask forgiveness will it be late?
We split our lives to find our mind again
We do divorce so our first fights regained
Our feeling we keep away from decay
Anguish we send each other everyday
In silence we give away our tenderness
Whirlwinds beneath what we express
Honesty is lost with time and age
Supplanted by disgust and frightful rage
The flame we held and passion that we shared
The needs we burnt were the child we never beared
Together will we remain to say:
"Together we will survive to stay"
