Drifting

Contributed by pixie on Thursday, 4th May 2006 @ 08:47:44 AM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

As I sit here I drift along,
Singing to myself many a sad song,
Tears tickle my soft skin,
Tears that flow from deep down within.

My soul is ever so slowly dying,
Ive given up on everything, even trying,
Trying to face and cope with my loss,
Hearts covered in a blue tinted gloss.

My love and prayers didnt work,
So here I sit alone with my hurt,
Dad how I long to kiss your cheek,
Please help me Dad I feel so lost and weak.

The thought of never seeing you,
Never leaves my mind, it sticks like glue,
I feel pain like I have never before,
It seems to me that God closed his door.

He didnt listen as I prayed,
Down here with us you should have stayed,
Dad I tried, I tried my best,
But it seemed that you were ready for eternal rest.

This hurt me to read because it is such a common problem these days. Every child needs a father. Please don't give up on God! Sometimes He takes a while to answer. Hang in there and don't let your Dad down. Be the best you can be and make him proud. You are special. You are a winner. You are loved.

Do not give up. God does not close His doors... when you pray... be very open to Him, He is trying to work within you... God is not pushy so.. just talk to him normally as you would in love... over and over again... God did hear you... he is trying hard to get you to realize his love for you and that he is helping you.... trust... and you will notice the miracle he has sent.. already... hugs from me.. a sister.... raquelLeah

Oh Pixie...I am so saddened by your write. I know the loss and pain you must be feeling at present.... but believe me, it goes away with time...maybe not forever, maybe not as you would expect, but keep his memory alive and he will live on in your heart....
Hugs
Jenni
