The Rain R.M. Wilson
As I walk below the cloudy sky I see the rain drops fall Strike the ground and die To join together is their call
Forming such a little stream Brothers together, they swim free Togetherness their happy theme Heading out to sea
Their journey ends The sun breaks cloud The brothers swirl and mend The sky, their home, they crowd
I envy the rain It falls then lives once more And happy is their pain Heaven is home for rains that pour

I liked the piece. Maybe how you referred to the water droplets as brothers. Nice. Thanks for sharing. Peace, Laura |
