Fade back to the dark where I came from Back to the shadows where I belong Back to the delights Of sharing quiet nights
Left alone In a city of ghosts forlorn In an eternity of black Down an abyssal track
A salutation To my successful isolation From the irksome To the nothingness of reason

I like this.
nfortunately, I think the one bit that let it down was the word 'Fade'. I feel it is too overused.
Otherwise, I like this a lot. The rhymes are sharp, which is good, they take unexpected turns.
Good write.

Such a beautiful combination. Neatness and
and style and very enjoyable reading. Says
a lot though a dark poem, it has a wisdom
and self revealation. A worthy peice of dark
writting. nicely done.
