The World Is Yours ... The World Is Mine

Contributed by Cynthia on Wednesday, 5th February 2003 @ 05:00:00 AM in AEST
Topic: ChristianPoetry

Imagine.
No borders,
No pushing or shoving,
Saying this is,
My country,
This is,
My border,
You may not cross.

Then again,
Imagine,
The world,
That God has made,
For us.

No boundries,
Color blindness,
Amongst the human race,
No famine,
Brotherly love,
Helps feed thy neighbor.

Brotherly love,
That you should feel,
Within your heart,
For your neighbor,
Anywhere in the world,
Should be kindness.

To help people,
When they are down,
Help heal them,
When they are sick.

Except no reward,
Til the day,
You meet your,
Father in Heaven.

These are,
The rules of,
Common decency.

Brotherly love,
And kindness,
Remember these,
Always.

For someday,
You may,
Wake up and see yourself,
For who,
You really are.
