Yearning to find,
my true self within.
A brand new endeavour,
about to begin.
Staring up blankly,
at the darkening sky.
My thoughts finally clear,
as I start to cry.
The tears not from sadness,
or hatred, or strife.
But from a soul cleansing,
for once in this life.
Brought down by the judges,
who are plauging my mind.
Until they're shut off,
allowing me to unwind.
My search is now over,
my mind's finally clear,
but soon yet again,
my drying eyes tear.
