Everyone looking for one answer in life,
to why we live here in a circle of strife.
Shootings, murders, and lies all around,
white chalk marks the body dead on the ground
Attacks on our country to our people's pride,
lest we forget now about those who died.
A repect once given when our lives were spared,
a time in the past when we once all cared.
So rest your head now because your life is secure,
and pray for the pain you won't have to endure.
